Eventually, and it will take longer than many expect, there will be a point where the economics around the ICE will become untenable. At some point, the cost of creating, storing and delivering gas will come up against a shrinking number of ICE vehicles. Gasoline will become much more expensive and harder to find as the market shrinks.
