I hope folks can start getting better wages and benefits for unskilled or low skill jobs. I would love to see them make more money and have access to better healthcare.

We should have no false illusions however. Increasing the cost of labor will drive inflation and this will have the greatest impact on those on the low end of the economic scale. I see no easy answers.

There are a lot of factors going on here, as noted by a scant few in the comments. The issue is far more complex and multidimensional than many are willing to realize. This being said, knowing many small business owners, the issue of labor shortage is definitely real and can't easily be fixed by just throwing more wages at the problem without having a commensurate impact on inflation.
